Martin William Roche, M.D.
Native of Ireland, Dr Martin Roche is the Director of the Robotic Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at Holy Cross, and Specializes in Complex Knee Disorders. He performed the first Sensor Assisted and Robotic Assisted Knee Surgery in the World.

Dr Roche completed his Orthopedic training at the University of Miami and joined Holy Cross Hospital in 1996. He has since performed thousands of reconstructive joint procedures. He is a pioneer in minimally invasive techniques for joint replacements, robotics, and sensor applications. He is an international speaker and surgical instructor for joint replacements, and advanced surgical techniques.

He holds multiple patents in the Orthopedic space, and is the Clinical developer of the MakoSurgical Knee System. Dr Roche founded Orthosensor Inc. which develops advanced sensors for Orthopaedic applications to improve Patient Care.

He has trained hundreds of surgeons on these applications and is extensively published in prominent Orthopaedic journals. Dr Roche has dedicated his profession to developing and utilizing the most advanced technologies to improve surgical outcomes and patient care.
